• I have found no documentation of Bruno's first name.  Official recordsalways refer to him only as Bruno Hamrick, except for the 1910 censuswhere he is Ortho B.  Even his WWI draft card and his deathcertificate have only Bruno Hamrick.  Various genealogies have hisfirst name as Orthro, Ortho, Othro or Otto.  The most common isOrthro.  Amelia Hamrick says the spelilng in Bruno's mother's Bible isOthro.
