• I got Henry's name and some family connections from Wanda Cox.  I thenfound information in various censuses and other sources for variousmembers of the family.
  
  Here is the first appearance of Henry, in the 1850 census, at age 5,with his father and stepmother in Illinois.  Henry's mother was MaryTeter, who died in April 1845, after Henry's birth in January 1845.Because Henry was born on New Year's Day, he was named Henry New YearNorris.

  Evlyn explains (in an email to Wanda Cox) that there were twins namedEddie Z and Zeddie E and Eddie died early.  In fact we had the date ofhis death from another researcher in an online genealogy.  Thisgenealogy, however, had only one of the twins named, Eddie.  Eddielived only one week.

  But Eddie is reported in the 1910 census as 1 year and 10 months old.This child in 1910 is actually Zeddie, the surviving twin, who iscorrectly recorded in the 1920 census as Zeddie and in 1930 as ZeddieE.  The enumerator made an error in the name.
  
  In 1930 Zeddie is living in the household of his sister Alpha OdelaGreen.  See notes for Zeddie E Norris and Alpha Odela Norris.

  I think this death information is for the wrong Norris.  The TexasDeath index reports the name of the person who died on this date in FtWorth as H M Norris.  I have not been able to find a Texas Death Indexrecord for Henry New Year Norris.

  I see that this genealogy reports an extra child not seen in thecensuses.  Notice Lucy Lucinda, born in 1907.  This is only one yearbefore Eddie.  Yet in the 1910 census, there is no child mentionedbetween Henry (age 4, born about 1806-7) and Eddie (age 1 yr 10months, born May 1908.  In the full details for Lucinda (Lucy) on herpage in this genealogy we learn that she lived only a few days:

  Another child, Chester likewise does not appear in any of the censuseswe have seen.  That is probably because he was out in his ownhousehold in 1900 when he would have been 18 or 19.  Note that thereis also an extra child apparently with the last name Wiley listedhere.
