The Tudorplace genealogy of the Le Stranges of Knockin begins theBarony with this John, making him 1st Baron Lord Strange of Knockin(Knockyn). All other sources I have found, including the heritagelisting in the Le Strange Website, indicates that the Barony beganwith this John's son, John V of Knockin. This Tudorplace source hasmuch detail about some persons and the establishment of variousBaronies. Yet this is the only source that indicates the KnockinBarony beginning in this generation.
