    The final entry, Loula I, listed as mother, matches Louisa D, Bert'smother.  The date of birth of January 1834 matches other sourcesputting her birth in 1834.  It is a puzzle why the enumeratorunderstood her name as Loula, and the middle initial as I instead ofD, which we have from family sources.

    Nona's family are living next door to Maggie E McSwain, a older sisterof her husband Bennie D McSwain.  daughter of Phillip K McSwain, andher husband Banjamin F Rowland.  Two doors on the other side of Benand Maggie are tow houses of Padgetts who also came form NorthCarolina, so would be cousins of some sort.  The Padgetts and McSwainswere kin in different ways in North Carolina and some moved toArkansas together.

    Nona's brother Orval married a McSwain also, Iona, a niece of Maggieand Bennie, daughter of Joseph Edward McSwain, a brother of Maggie andBennie.
