  • The Russell-Collier Genealogy cites an email from Richard Davis, of the Green Family Genealogy, to report that Sarah's maiden nmae was Morrison, and she married Anderson Green about 1827, and died about 1871.  The genealogy had no information about Sarah's parents.

    We can conclude they married in North Carolina, since their first 3 children reported in the 1850 census were born in North Carolina.  The rest were born in Georgia, where they were enumerated in the census for Carroll County..
