Born in St Omer, Quebec, Canada. Daughter of Esther (LeBlanc) and Joseph Gagné/Gagnon. When she came into the US via Eastport, Maine 28 APR 1917, she was to meet her brother Paul Gagnon.
Siblings: Fred, Henry, Paul, Wilfred, Margaret, Rosette, Marie.
Married first to Eugene Theriault then to Frank Williams. Children from first marriage: Herman (FR: Hermel), Bert, John Baptisté (who later changed his name to Gene THRALL), Leo (died age 11 from appendicitis), Lucien and Elizabeth.
Esther enjoyed sewing and travel. She traveled to San Francisco after her first husband died and opened a gift shop. Although her formal education was only through grade four, she was a very intelligent and business savvy person. She also took a seamstress course. She was fluent in both French and English.
