Notes

  • Different sources enable us to put together the full name of Nancy Elizabeth (Lizzie) Mullins.

The oral history from the Green family knew her only as Lizzie.  This is an obvious familiar form of Elizabeth, the name reported in the 1880 census.

In most censuses she is refered to as Elizabeth.  In the 1860 census, Samuel and Elizabeth Tatum are living in Pickens County, Georgia.

We discover her first name in the 1870 census, where she is reported as Nancy E.

One genealogy reports a date of death for Nancy Elizazbeth (Lizzie), but provides no source documentation for this, even to say it is from family oral history.  Here is that basic information with the family configuration also.
