Obituary:
David R. Steiner, 58, of Escatawpa died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula.
He was born March 31, 1949 in Pascagoula. David had a love for music and a real talent for it. He has written many songs and played numerous instruments.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Woodrow H. and Dora L. Steiner. His wife of 31 years, Katy L. Steiner, who passed away on February 23, 2007.
Survivors include his children Tina (Hogie) Delk, Kim (Brian) Gatlin both of Laurel, Shane (Kim) Steiner, Andy Steiner both of Escatawpa, Kathy (Chris) Clapper of Moss Point, Lyn (Matt) Gilbert of Escatawpa, Tammy Cagle of Gautier. Brothers and sisters, Woodrow H. "Buddy" (Ruth) Steiner of Vancleave, Sylvia Chandler of Escatawpa, Elbert (Cathy) Steiner of Harleston, Debbie (Ricky) Pokrinchak of Ocean Springs, Janet (Bernie) Evans of Wade; 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday , November 13, 2007 from 6-8 pm at O'Bryant- O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at 2:00pm, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeff Fillmore officiating.
