Two additional children are memtioned in Jemima's memorial on Find a Grave. After Penina is Lucinda, and the last-named child is Dr William Wilshire Philpot. Lucinda does not appear in the 1860 census, but is in the 1870 census as 15 years old. Where was she in 1860? It might be another name for one of the other chidlren, but there is no other girl child close to the age of Lucinda.
The Ancestry scan of the 1860 census is incomplete, cutting off most the right section of the sheet from the birth state field to the right edge of the sheet. I don't know which James Philpot this is working on the farm.
Elizabeth appears in the Find-a-Grave list below, as well as Sarah. In the 1860 census she is reported as 17 yeas old, but the name Elizabeth does not appear in the 1850 census for the family. Maybe Sarah is reported in 1860, with an age matching Elizabeth in 1860. WQith what we now now, this leads to the tentative conclusion that Sarah and Elizabeth are the same child, even though both lists appear in the Find-a-Grave list.
