Notes
- In 1918 Walter registered for the WWI Draft in Refugio County, Texas. One of his wife's brothers, Thomas Christian, was also in Refugio County when he registered for the draft in 1917. Thomas married Walter's sister. Sybil's other brothers did not register for the draft until 1918 after they had mvoed to Arizona or California.
